Up for sale, a 7308 / E188CC Siemens tube, believed to be 1964 mfg.. I'm sure most folks reading this listing will know the tube family here so I'll skip the repetition. As for this tube, the lettering looks pretty horrible but this tests fairly well on my Amplitrex. This is testing 96% -88% emission with relatively good balance between sections. I'm not sure if the etched codes can be seen in the pics but they indicate Siemens manufacture and I believe the 4B code indicates 1964 mfg. (as later tubes got internal tabs for the date code - I could be wrong but that's the info I'm working from). See pics for actual readout from the tester. Looks like it's been used a bit but should have a good amount of useful life ahead. Sorry, no box. I'll roll it in bubble wrap for safe travel. I'm starting to thin the herd a little of old hi-fi tubes, I was buying at a much younger age and have a few good ones sitting around. US bidders/buyers only please. This will ship tracked and insured. General notes regarding testing: tubes are tested using fixed bias which produces the most conservative results. The tester is fed 116.4v pure sine wave battery power which allows for extremely consistent test results. My wall voltage measures all over the map and consistency suffers a bit so I've unplugged. I will leave commonly encountered hype for other vendors, it's not my style.
