Three cross support models are perfect for holding shorter length or less stable cargo with a tendency to sag. Drill free installation makes it easy to remove or transfer rack to another van if necessary. Ladder racks are built of 14 gauge structural steel tubing for extra strength and durability. Each 1 1/2" square cross support is set deeply into steel uprights. Extra wide mounting base and clamp secure uprights to drip rail, guaranteeing maximum support and stability, without drilling holes in the vehicle top. Adjustable tie-down ring on each cross support firmly secures cargo. Uprights have 5/8" diameter tie-down holes to accomodate hooks, ropes, etc. when securing your load. For greater protection and long wear, racks have a 3 mil thick powder coat finish. It may be necessary to cut cross supports on some vans with contour roof designs. Occasionally, due to changes in aerodynamics caused by the installation with any ladder racks on a van, some vibration may occur. This can happen with any ladder rack and is not predictable. If you experience this problem, installing the optional Air Foil (in black or white) along with repositioning the rack on your vehicle slightly may help eliminate the vibration **Never installed. I bought this back in 2014 for alot more than what they are selling it for now, plus shipping was close to $100 for a 2011 For E-Seris cargo van for carrying ladders but ended up selling before getting to install. There are so scuffs and scratches but minor. No bends, everything is straight and ready to be installed. Will update with more photos shortly. I also bought the ladder restraints to keep the ladders secured during driving and they are brand new as well, sold separately in other listing. Sold as is. No returns, exchanges or refunds.
