F2a11 is considered one of the best sounding output (power) tubes ever. It was only made by Siemens in West Germany in 1960s and 70s and is now extremely rare, NOS (new old stock, meaning unused tubes) selling for up to $2,000 a pair. Grab a bargain here, these tubes This pair of used tubes was fully tested on Triplett 3444 tube tester (using an adapter, since 3444 does not have the required test socket) and in a hi-end single-ended amplifier. They are precisely matched in terms of anode (plate) current (38 and 37 mA at these test conditions) and mutual conductance (6.8 and 7.1 mA/V). NOTE 2: The amplifier, tube tester or any other items pictured are NOT included in this sale, only a pair of F2a11 tubes, #3 and #4 on the photos, serial numbers 83257 and 81025. NOTE 3: One tube has a rattle inside, but that does not affect its performance. The other tube is missing its locator pin, but it is easily seen which way the pin was facing and which way to insert the tube.
